Badgingarra Casey:
Firstly, I’d like to apologise to all those disappointed punters who travelled from far and wide to see me compete. I was regrettably unable to attend this trial due to factors beyond my control, such as the very very cold temperatures at Kellerberrin and the much warmer temperature here in our living room. There were also other considerations: my likelihood of winning the event was somewhat lower than usual, given that my dogs are either broken (Muddy), suffering from placenta brain (Queani) or just too cool for yardwork (Bill); and my likelihood of being driven mental by my snotty nosed, coughing, lurgy infected offspring was much higher than usual. In the spirit of good sportsmanship and support for the trialling community, I decided to stay home.
So R went on his own, and I didn’t want him to get bored so I sent my camera with him with instructions to take lots of photos. He whimpered pitifully for a minute or two about his hands being too frozen in Kellerberrin’s icy winds to operate the camera, and being a bit busy what with judging the Novice, but I tucked my Snuggie firmly around myself, increased the volume on the TV and gave him a verbal Uggboot up bottom, and like the good man he is, he hardened up and got on with it. So I do have some photos and results for you.

Boss of the office, Pat Charlick:
Warm enough for you, Hayden? (waiting his turn with Mac’s Magic, Grant Cooke and Grassvalley Tod holding sheep behind)
Neil Kristiansen working Bellview Shadow, not yet warm enough or stirred up enough to remove hands from pockets:

Badgingarra Tony (Tuff x Shona):
Andrew Gorton has some Tony pups (out of his Ella, our Esme’s mum) available at the moment- check them out here!
R didn’t fare too badly. He wasn’t well prepared, having only just finished seeding, but Bella managed a credible performance to make the open finals (where she dropped her game somewhat). Charlie did something Charlie to mess up an otherwise nice run, and poor old Fred struggled in the yards. Too old, Freddy!
Clever R, somehow he managed to photograph not only some of the Novice runs he was judging, but also his own Open runs. Here he is with Bella at the force:
And Boylee Fred, coming into the yards:

Hey K, look what we missed out on- are you so disappointed you could spew?
